Emily Barker, Certified Physician Assistant, is originally from Strasburg, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology at Ohio University in 2013. She went on to complete her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Ohio Dominican University in 2016. She spent the first five years of her career working in the Emergency Department in Columbus, Ohio. She also had the opportunity to hone her procedural skills in the operating room while working with a neurosurgeon for several years.
Emily is thrilled to be joining the team at Trillium Creek Dermatology. She has always been fascinated by the highly varied specialty of dermatology and is looking forward to applying her medical and procedural knowledge to serve her patients. She is also passionate about the artistic side of cosmetic dermatology and the immediate impact it can have on patients’ lives.
Emily and her husband reside in Wooster with their daughter and lovable Saint Bernard mix. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and staying active by hiking and practicing yoga. She and her husband are certified scuba divers and enjoy traveling any chance they get.
