Cara Athy, PAC, was born and raised in Randolph, Ohio. She graduated from Walsh University with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2011. She played basketball on scholarship as a four-year starter and is currently in the Walsh University athletic hall of fame.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she attended the University of Mount Union and obtained a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013.
Cara has worked in an ER and urgent care for 11 years, seeing various medically complex patients and performing procedures. She has worked in Wooster for the last seven years and looks forward to continuing to serve this community.
Dermatology is a diverse and dynamic field of medicine and has always been a special interest in her career. Everyone deserves the confidence of a healthy appearance, and to be a part of a patient’s journey to achieve this is very rewarding.
When Cara is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, running, and taking their pontoon boat out on the lake where she lives.
