The Liquid Face Lift
Let’s face it, we all want to look great for our age without any painful surgeries. The biggest breakthrough in facial rejuvenation is Sculptra®, or what has come to be known as the Liquid Face Lift. By combining fillers such as Sculptra® and Juvederm™ with Botox® you can reverse the signs of aging with little or no downtime.
Dr. Torok Receives Advanced Training with Sculptra®
Dr. Torok has been using Sculptra® in her practice since 2004, and has received advanced training from Dr. Tiffani Hamilton on novel approaches to facial rejuvenation with Sculptra®. Since 1999, Sculptra® has been used in Europe to safely restore volume in the face and the hands. As a result of the advanced training, Dr. Helen Torok can restore volume that has been lost in the upper cheeks. Injecting Sculptra® using this new technique rounds out the upper cheeks and temples providing a more youthful appearance. Volume loss including fat loss, bone loss, and muscle loss is what causes the face to look older and hollow.
The Scuptra® Treatment
Sculptra® is injected into the upper cheeks, temples, and outer eyebrows every two months over a period of six months. Three treatments are usually necessary for best results. The solution is injected with a topical anesthetic so the procedure is more comfortable. Some temporary bruising and swelling may occur during the first few days. Results are usually not seen until the third month or after the second treatment.
How Long the Sculptra® Treatment Lasts
Over six months, Sculptra® will stimulate the skin to grow and fill the upper cheeks with a youthful roundness. The apples of your cheeks will be redefined. The great news is that unlike fullers, Sculptra® lasts up to three years. It is a safe, effective, and long lasting treatment that helps stimulate your body to produce collagen for a more youthful appearance.
