Ania Henning was born in Poland but grew up in Illinois. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Illinois State University. After her undergraduate education, she attended medical school at the Medical University of Lublin in Poland where she graduated with honors. Dr. Henning completed her residency at Summa Health in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology ( AP/CP) where she enjoyed collaborating with numerous pathologists and dermatologists in the field and publishing broadly in dermatology. She finished her dermatopathology fellowship at The Ohio State University.
Outside of work, her interests include Pilates, reading, and fashion. However, most of the time these days she is busy running after her toddler daughter and spending time with her husband, as well as her beloved Persian cat who flew back from Poland with her after completion of medical school.
