LipoDissolve™ is a safe and fast way to eliminate unwanted fat. It is a safe alternative to liposuction and other invasive cosmetic procedures. LipoDissolve™ is a combination of synthetic bile and phosphatidylcholine. Both substances are naturally occurring in the body. LipoDissolve™ is not a weight loss program, but a body sculpting technique for those areas of the body that have not responded to exercise and diet. The fat cells are permanently removed by the injections and the patient will not gain extra weight again in any area that has been treated.
LipoDissolve™ is suitable for men and women who have problem areas that have not responded to diet and exercise.
What does LipoDissolve™ treat?
LipoDissolve™ can be used to remove localized fat deposits. Most commonly treated areas are the abdomen, face, neck, back, bra line and “saddlebags.”
LipoDissolve can be used for:
Does it hurt?
There may be some localized discomfort upon injection, and a minor burning or stinging sensation following the injections. Swelling will occur in the treated area, and soreness and inflammation may be experienced for several days after treatment. In some cases, possible localized bruising may occur. Trillium Creek utilizes all-natural homeopathic remedies to keep these side effects to a minimum and decrease downtime.
The area will be marked with a grid to ensure even placement of the injections. After the series of injections is completed, the area is wrapped in a tight compression garment or dressing. The patient then receives homeopathic remedies to control swelling, redness and any discomfort.
Burning, stinging, redness, numbness and swelling are the most common after-effects. Swelling after the treatment gives LipoDissolve™ an advantage over liposuction in that LipoDissolve™ causes tightening of the tissues when treated, where liposuction may leave loose or hanging skin.
After the injection, the bile will break down the fat cells and the fat is carried away through the liver and kidneys. If the same area needs a second treatment, the patient will return in six to eight weeks for another treatment. Usually a series of one to four treatments are needed, depending on the amount of fat to be removed.
