OVERVIEW
Over time, our skin is affected by sun exposure, loss of collagen and moisture, and more. Sublative Rejuvenation™ works from the inside out by stimulating cell regrowth. The eMatrix™ system gently directs radio frequency energy into the skin with a matrix of electrodes. The energy causes deep dermal heating to maximize collagen production, which leads to a rejuvenated appearance of the skin.

To achieve the best possible results, heat energy must be delivered deep into the skin without overheating the top layer of skin. More aggressive facial resurfacing treatments work by overheating the top layer of skin to the point of total removal, which then causes new skin to develop. Since Sublative Rejuvenation™ uses radio frequency to penetrate through the upper layers of skin, it sends more energy beneath the surface while still keeping the top layer of the skin intact. This is why eMatrix™ is so effective yet requires little downtime.

Treatment
eMatrix™ treatments are quick, and normally only take about 20 minutes. Depending on your skin condition, 3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart are typically recommended.

During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as the energy enters their skin. Some patients may experience a mild sunburn-like sensation or red or pink skin following treatment. Patients may return to their normal activities immediately.

Results
After treatment, patients noticed brighter, smoother skin with fewer wrinkles. Mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations will be reduced and the overall texture of the treated skin becomes smoother and more elastic. After treatment, more collagen and healthy skin cells will be produced due to the application heat energy.
